Each  SCAA Baseball & Softball Division from Pinto & up will normally form at least one All-Star team towards the end of the Spring season. Players typically will have shown exemplary performance to their coaches throughout the season, but tryouts are held to determine each team.  Teams are drafted immediately after the tryouts by all the Team Managers in their respective division.  All-Star Team Managers are also appointed by the vote of all the Division's Team Managers.
All-Star teams practice and play leagues outside of SCAA at the end of the Spring Season and during the summer months.
Baseball All-Star Teams will compete in PONY Tournaments, either in the VA State Tournament or the PONY World Series Tournaments.  Teams will also play in various Warm-Up Tournaments around Hampton Roads, including the SCAA Summer Bash.
Softball All-Star Teams will compete in the Summer Tournament Season including the SCAA Softball Summer Slam and the Jay Moon Memorial Tournament.
