Baseball for beginners. Foal is our instructional league to teach players the fundamentals of baseball and softball by the simplest method possible - letting them play the game. Players will be taught basic concepts in hitting off a tee, fielding, throwing, running the bases and teamwork. Most of all they will have fun!

Shetland is exclusively for players that qualify as 5U & 6U age groups and helps players transition from tee ball to coach pitch. Players will be taught basic concepts in hitting both off the tee and from a coach's pitch, fielding, throwing, running the bases and teamwork.

Players will be taught basic concepts in hitting, fielding, throwing, running the bases and teamwork. Pinto Division is exclusively Coach Pitch with each batter getting 6 pitches per at bat from their coach to put the ball in play (no balls or strikes called). There is no leading or stealing bases, and an "overthrow rule" is enforced. Players are required to play an infield position (P, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B) at least once before end of the 3rd inning and again before the end of the 5th inning. Each game is officiated by one (1) field umpire. Games are six (6) innings.

Players will be taught concepts in hitting, fielding, throwing, running the bases, pitching, and teamwork. Mustang Division starts players pitching to all batters from 46 feet with balls and strikes being called. There is no leading off base however baserunners are allowed to steal once ball reaches the catcher with all bases at 60 feet. There is no Infield Fly Rule, Balks, or "Dropped 3rd Strike" enforced. All players are required to play an infield position (P, C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B) at least once before the end of the 3rd inning and again before the end of 5th inning. All games are 6 innings and umpired by at least one (1) umpire from behind the plate.

SCAA has combined Colt & Palomino Divisions. Player will be divided up and drafted on to teams to ensure competitive play.

Players will be taught basic concepts in hitting, fielding, throwing, running the bases and teamwork. Coaches will pitch to all batters. Tee will be used when necessary. All girls in 5U and 6U age groups will automatically be placed in Shetland Softball.

Players will be taught basic concepts in hitting, fielding, throwing, running the bases and teamwork. Introduction to kid pitch with coach pitch support.

Players will be taught concepts in hitting, fielding, throwing, running the bases, pitching, and teamwork. Stealing bases will be introduced. Players will pitch to all batters.
