2025 Fall Baseball

Southern Chesapeake Athletic Association was founded in 1961 as Great Bridge Baseball. We have grown to become the largest youth baseball and softball organization in Hampton Roads. The majority of our players attend school in the Great Bridge, Hickory and Grassfield districts in Chesapeake and the Currituck, NC school district. However, we welcome families from all over Chesapeake, greater Hampton Roads, and northeast North Carolina.

SCAA has Spring and Fall Seasons for Tee Ball, Baseball, & Softball. Fall Ball is our "instructional" season, allowing for players to develop skills needed for the Spring Season. Spring Season is our competitive season with End-Of-Season Tournaments in most divisions, as well as All-Star Team formations.

The overwhelming majority of practices and games are held at our 18 field complex located at 2849 Eason Rd. in Chesapeake.

SCAA is a PONY Affiliated League.

2025 Fall Champions League

Southern Chesapeake Athletic Association's PONY Champions League provides the opportunity for children with special needs to pursue their dreams of team sports in America’s favorite pastime of baseball and softball. It is our goal to provide an environment that enhances the participants’ self-esteem, physical mobility, and embodies the spirit of teamwork and community.

Any individual ages 5 to 19 with a physical or intellectual challenge may participate. If an individual can participate in the traditional baseball or softball programs with reasonable accommodations they should do so.

Children ages 3 to 6 will play in our traditional Foal & Shetland tee ball divisions.

REGISTRATION FEE FOR CHAMPIONS LEAGUE IS $35 PER PLAYER FOR FALL 2025 SEASON. All players will go on Wait List until verified as having a qualifying disability. Once verified, players will be activated and parent/guardian will have 24 hours to pay registration fee.

We ALL can Play Ball at SCAA!!
