This is a specialty hitting clinic that will focus entirely on developing a player's offensive softball skills. Players will rotate though a series of supervised stations, including batting cages. Each stage will be designed to teach a different component of hitting. Players will also participate in hitting games and competitions designed to improve on an aggressive approach at the plate, proper grip, stance, routine, balance, stride/load, timing, bat path, contact points, extension, and proper finish. Young hitters will build a solid foundation and finish the week with an understanding of the swing. Experienced players will cover advanced topics such as hitting to all fields, situational hitting, hitting off-speed pitches, and the mental side of hitting.
