Spring Registration

SPRING THUNDER SUNDAY SELECT REGISTRATION
All players must register to participate in Thunder Sunday Select.

If you have any questions or issues with Sunday Select Team Registration, please contact SCAA Registration Manager at [email protected].

For Player Registration:

All players must register for the Spring Rec season in order to tryout and participate in Thunder Select Teams.
Players who make Thunder Select Teams will be placed on their team automatically.
Players who don't make Thunder Select Teams will play in regular Rec Program.

For Coach Registration:

Each team has only 3 "official" coaches by PONY Rules (4 "official" coaches in Pinto (8U) Division with an extra Assistant Coach position).
Team have the following positions: Manager, Assistant Coach, and a Business Manager/Assistant Coach.
Team Parents for Select Teams may register to get access to "Team Central" Team Page and Game Changer.

Spring 2026 Baseball

Southern Chesapeake Athletic Association was founded in 1961 as Great Bridge Baseball. It has grown to become the largest youth baseball and softball organization in Hampton Roads. The majority of our players attend school in the Great Bridge, Hickory and Grassfield in Chesapeake and Currituck, NC school districts. However, we welcome families from all over Hampton Roads and North Carolina. We are a PONY Affiliated league.

The overwhelming majority of practices and games are held at our 18 field complex located at 2849 Eason Rd. in Chesapeake.

Be advised: Colt and Palomino divisions will have a longer registration period due to players who play in the high school baseball season. Drafts for these divisions and season start dates will also differ from the other programs and divisions at SCAA.
