Executive Board Election Results

Thanks to all of our members that took a few minutes to vote our upcoming Executive Board members. Congratulations to our new team members:

PRESIDENT

Patrick Ricucci
Patrick began his history with SCAA in 2007, coaching 14 recreational teams, 3 All-Star teams, and 8 Select/Travel teams through 2013.  His tenure on the SCAA Board of Directors began in 2008 as Baseball Uniforms Manager and Mustang Player Agent, and in 2009 he also became the Bronco Player Agent.  He then held the position of Vice President of Baseball from 2010 to 2013.  While he hasn’t had a child at SCAA since 2013 he remained on the board and became the Treasurer in 2014 which he has done for the last 4 years.  In 2014 he also became the Select/Travel League Coordinator, and in 2016 became the Concessions Manager, still holding all three positions today.  He also coordinates all All-Star team activities and assists with several other positions and committees.  He is often asked why he stays on the board with no children in the league.  His answer is “I have a passion and drive for improving the league and making a difference; it’s one of the ways I give back”.

VICE PRESIDENT OF BASEBALL

Bryan Conley
Bryan has been a board member at SCAA since 2014 starting out as the Shetland Field Director. He currently serves as the Pinto Player Agent and Mustang Player Agent and manages teams in both the Pinto and Mustang divisions. Bryan was responsible for developing and implementing the Shetland 6 program at SCAA in the Spring of 2016. He also developed the design and layout for the new Pinto Field C13 at the front of the complex along with a sister field that will be built adjacent to it as funds become available. Bryan can frequently be found at the complex dragging and lining fields or working on various complex maintenance tasks.

VICE PRESIDENT OF SOFTBALL

Brian Baker
Brian Baker has loved baseball his entire life, and his oldest son began playing tee ball at SCAA in the spring of 2011. Since 2011, all four of Baker children have played at SCAA, and Brian has had the rewarding experience of not only coaching his kids but many other children over the last 7 years. He joined the SCAA Board as the Shetland Field Director in the Fall of 2011. He then served as the Shetland Player Agent and Field Director and added Pinto Baseball Field Director to his responsibilities until he was elected President of SCAA in 2014.  Throughout his time on the board and as President, he has continued to coach teams in the organization, including coaching 12 seasons in Shetland, 6 in Pinto baseball, and 2 in Mustang Baseball, including 9U All-Stars in 2016.  In his time as President, our league has seen tremendous growth, particularly in our softball program.  He is running for Vice President of Softball because his oldest daughter played 4 seasons in Pinto Softball, and his youngest daughter is going to begin her time in softball soon. He would like to continue to be an agent of change on the Executive Board, even though his time as SCAA President is over. Watching his daughter compete in Pinto softball, as well as in All-Stars, he has seen the passion and excitement that is within the softball community, and he would like to ensure that SCAA continues to be a place where girls love to play softball.

TREASURER

Rob Camlin
Rob Camlin has been on the board and involved with SCAA since August 2010 as the Pinto and Mustang Softball Player Agent and Field Director. He first started coaching both his daughters at the Mustang & Bronco level. He was the 2011 Mustang All-Star Manager, 2012-2013 Bronco All-Star  Manager, 2013 Pony All-Star Manager and various Select teams. He has been the Vice President of Softball since 2014.  Rob and his daughter Danielle have been coaching at the Pinto Softball level for the past three seasons.

SECRETARY

Melissa Williams
Since 2016, Mel has brought a wealth of resource and knowledge to the board of directors at SCAA. With a marketing and technology background, her focus from day one has been set on improving communications, registration, member support and building a better community. She's a part of several smaller committees and always does whatever is needed...and more. She was also lead designer of our last two SCAA Christmas Parade floats! Outside of board meetings, you'll find her on the softball field - volunteering as a coach, team parent, or just being a softball mom to her own teenage players.
