SCAA Announces Division Changes to Softball

SCAA is pleased to announce changes to 3 divisions in our softball structure.  Due to the increase in registrations in these age groups, we are able to expand our girl's softball offerings!  Registration for our Spring 2023 Season will reflect the following changes.

Shetland Softball
Softball Super 6, our tee ball offering for girls to get started in softball, is now Shetland Softball!  Girls can now start on a softball track even earlier giving them an edge over other organizations that just offer regular tee ball.   All age qualified girls who sign up for Shetland will be automatically placed into Shetland Softball.  Parents have the opportunity to have their player continue to play in regular Shetland tee ball by just submitting a request to the Shetland Player Agent.

Pony Division
Pony Softball (13U &14U) Division will now be only for 13 & 14 year old players and we've created a new Colt/Palomino (15 y/o & up) Division beginning this Spring!  Girls who qualify for the Pony Division will now be placed on teams with the appropriate aged girls, and Colt/Palomino will be the combined place to play for our older more advanced players.   All age qualified girls who sign up will automatically be placed in their correct divisions by the registration portal.  14 year old players who have played at least 2 full seasons in the Pony Division will be eligible to apply to play in the new Colt/Palomino division by submitting a request to the Pony/Colt/Palomino Softball Player Agent.
