The Team Manager/ Head Coach is in charge of a team.  

They are responsible for setting up practices, game day line ups & player positions, as well as other duties.  They are assisted by a Coach Eligible and other Assistant Coaches.  They also have a Team Parent to help with the administrative duties.  

In Foal/Shetland the Team Manager/Head Coach is automatically assigned a team and parents may request to be placed on his/her team.   

For all divisions from Pinto on up, they will be responsible to select their team in the division's draft.  

Team Manager/Head Coach's player(s) in the division are automatically assigned to their team in the draft.  

The Team Manager/Head Coach position is background checked thru SCAA.

Coach Eligible is the Primary Assistant Coach or the "Secondary Head Coach".  

Coach Eligible assists the Team Manager with duties as needed and fills in for the Team Manager should he not be able to attend an event.   A Team Manager may select their own Coach Eligible for the position.  

Coach Eligible's player(s) are automatically placed on their team in the draft.   

The Coach Eligible position is background checked thru SCAA.

Assistant Coach position helps the Team Manager and Coach Eligible as needed, usually acting as a base coach or a bench coach during games and assist with other various duties during practices.  

Assistant Coaches are assigned to their player's team as they are drafted.

Team Parent assists the Team Manager with administrative duties, so that they are able to focus on the players and not be overwhelmed with other responsibilities. 

This position acts as an "Off-Field Assistant Coach" helping the Team Manager as needed with communications, uniforms, picture day organization, fundraising and other league-related activities. This role can also encompass helping with snack schedules, dugout help and more as needed by the Team Manager.  Team Parents also are the main team contact for our annual spring raffle.
