CONCESSIONS INFORMATION
Teams failing to perform their concessions duty will not be eligible for the play-offs and/or will have a game forfeited. Teams failing to perform their concessions duty at the end of the season, that are not still playing or playing in the play-offs, will have a debit added to the applicable players’ accounts to be applied at their next registration.
Not all baseball teams have concessions, as there are more teams than concessions duty slots. Left over teams may be assigned other duties within the complex, such as field maintenance, which will be organized by the applicable VP.
Teams with parents that are part of SCAA’s Concessions Committee, and therefore helping with the running of concessions, were not assigned concessions duty.
No team will have concessions duty during a game.
The concessions schedule runs past the currently scheduled games, but this will help compensate for make-up games extended into the end of May, as well as the play-off games.
Teams rescheduled for make-up games or play-offs should consult the concessions schedule and let us know immediately if there are conflicts.
Softball teams that have concessions duty on Saturdays only have one duty slot. They may split the time up in smaller slots as long as there are 2-3 people there at all times.
Softball teams that have weeknight concessions duty may have either one or two slots, but their time frame is shorter than Saturdays.
For softball teams working the Small Stand, they must first report to the Main Stand to get a key, money, supplies and instructions. The only exception is that the team working the second shift on Saturday may report directly to the Small Stand.
Baseball teams running the main stand cannot split into smaller slots if it means having less than 8 people on hand at all times.
For teams working concessions on Saturdays, their concessions duty was scheduled as close to their games as possible, with at least a 30 minutes gap in between.
There will be no concessions on Fridays.
