Passing of Jay Moon

It is with deep regret we have to inform you of the passing of Jay Moon, a longtime softball umpire at SCAA. Jay umpired at SCAA for the better part of 2 decades and always was dedicated and passionate about keeping the game fun for the players. His sense of humor always kept parents and coaches entertained. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Hartley “Jay" Moon

Visitation/Calling Hours: Wednesday April 20th from 6pm-7:30pm at RW Baker Funeral Home. The funeral home is located at 509 W Washington Street, Suffolk, VA 23434.

            Funeral: Thursday April 21st at Albert G. Horton Veterans Memorial Cemetery. **The funeral is at 9 am.** However, it is required that everyone arrive at RW Baker Funeral Home no later than 8:00 am the morning of the funeral. The cemetery requires that everyone arrive at the same time. Therefore, we must all leave the funeral home together in the funeral procession at 8:15 am.
